2018 is starting, and you might have a resolution to read more books. The only problem with a resolution like that is that you have no idea what to read. (Sometimes I have no idea what to read) So here are some books I love!
This book is amazing. It is about a boy named Auggie who has a rare face problem. He has been homeschooled his whole life, and now, starting fifth grade, he is going to school for the first time ever. This book is also a movie now–the movie is also really good, but I would read the book first.
This book is good for kids who don’t really want to read. It is about a boy named Dave. His grade level is so noisy that people nickname them the “Unshushables”. But then everything changes. This book is sure to make you laugh!
What We Found in the Sofa and How it Saved the World
If you are a kid who has a lot of imagination and likes science fiction, you will love this book. It is about Indorsians, dust bunnies, and zucchini crayons, and one crazy man. It is funny and is a good book to read for fun.
This book is an interesting and and page turning mix of mystery, history and fantasy (sort of funny how it all rhymes). Its World War II, and a wicked man is out to destroy everybody. Its up to four kids and the tale of King Arthur to save New York City–and the rest of the world.
That’s four books to last through January. What books have you enjoyed? Happy New Year!
