Edinburgh Castle: Saint Margaret’s Chapel

Have you ever been to Scotland? What about Edinburgh, capital of Scotland? If you’ve been to Edinburgh, have you been to Edinburgh Castle? And finally, if you have been to Edinburgh Castle, have you been to Saint Margaret’s Chapel?

Saint Margaret’s Chapel is the oldest standing part of Edinburgh Castle. It was built in the 12th century, but stopped being used after a while. But now it is used again. Many people have weddings and baptisms in this small chapel. Although it is small, it is a pretty place with its five stained glass windows. The windows were put in by Douglas Strachan in 1922. The windows dicept St Margaret, St Andrew, St Columba, St Ninian and William Wallace.
