This is a simple DIY craft tutorial on how to make mini soaps. These soaps are the perfect size for Lottie Dolls, but remember that Lottie Dolls are NOT waterproof dolls. You could use these to wash the doll clothes, but NOT the doll. Also remember to be careful with your pocketknife. Other than those things then this is good for kids to do! It is really fun and quick, perfect for a rainy day.
Things You Need:
- Scissors
- Paper
- Pocketknife
- Bar of Soap
- Pen
- Tape
How to Make it:
Step 1: Cut a few pieces of white paper, each about 2 centimeters tall and 1 centimeter wide. Take your pocketknife and bar of soap and carefully cut a few small rectangles of soap, each about a half centimeter wide and one centimeter tall.
Step 2: Take a piece of paper and fold it in half so that it looks like a book (like two imperfect squares next to each other). Make sure you DON’T fold it so that it looks like a hot dog bun. Write “SOAP” on the paper. Then tape two sides so that there is an opening at the top for the soap to go in. Cut off any extra tape hanging at the bottom, but make sure it is still able to seal.
Step 3: Put a small rectangle of soap in the opening. Now you’re done with one soap bar! Repeat steps 2-3 until you have used up all the pieces of soap and the pieces of paper.
