Poetry: Hello, Are You There?

Hello, Are You There?

Hello?

Are you there?

I am here, do you see me?

Do you hear me?

Or do you just not care enough?

For I cannot tell–

Is it the wind,

Or is it your voice,

Calling to me?

For whether I am young or old,

I cannot tell, will not tell.

So will you tell me?

Is that the grass rustling,

the trees waving,

the water rushing,

the wind blowing,

Or is it your voice?

For I cannot tell.

So

I

must

raise

my

voice,

And

call

out,

“Are

You

There?”

For I cannot tell, will you tell me?

About Me

Hi! I’m Emma! I love to bake, eat (anything gluten free that doesn’t taste like cardboard), craft, write, play cello, sing, do calligraphy and play with my dog, Cali (She’s on Instagram now!) Yeah, my bedroom is also actually the cupboard under the stairs, just like Harry Potter 🙂
