Poetry: What Silence Sounds Like

What Silence Sounds Like

Silence sounds to me

like ghost winds floating round

a person with no voice

words without sound

sunbeams

sunset

fog rising over still water

the turns of a page

stars shining

a lonely fire

small candlelight

shining in darkness

and sunrise

shining over the silence.

About Me

Hi! I’m Emma! I love to bake, eat (anything gluten free that doesn’t taste like cardboard), craft, write, play cello, sing, do calligraphy and play with my dog, Cali (She’s on Instagram now!) Yeah, my bedroom is also actually the cupboard under the stairs, just like Harry Potter 🙂
