Poetry: When Silence Gleams Bright

When Silence Gleams Bright

When the trees no longer whisper

When the moon no longer shines

When silence gleams bright

In a misty cold clearing

I will be here

On those dark days

When silence gleams bright

And tears freeze to ice

I will be here

Even though I will be a statue of ice

I will be warm to you

No matter what

Even if

The moon no longer shines

The wind blows like a whip

Silence gleams bright

I will be here.

About Me

Hi! I’m Emma! I love to bake, eat (anything gluten free that doesn’t taste like cardboard), craft, write, play cello, sing, do calligraphy and play with my dog, Cali (She’s on Instagram now!) Yeah, my bedroom is also actually the cupboard under the stairs, just like Harry Potter 🙂
