I love lemurs! There are lots of different kinds, but the most famous one is the Ring Tailed Lemur. It got it’s name for the ringed striped tail. They are really adorable! They are large strepsirrhine primates. They are in the 1/5 lemur families, Lemuridae. They are very social and can live in groups of up to 30 (!) lemurs! They also do polygamy, which, if you don’t know what that means, it means that the males marry more than one female without the other females/female dying or getting divorced. Humans do it sometimes, not not very often anymore. It’s less popular. Anyways, the lemurs are also endangered. That is sad because they ARE really cute!
