The Harry Potter Books Are Literally A Tornado

Did you ever think of a book that just pulled you in, like a tornado pulling you into its embrace? I think the Harry Potter series is that kind of book.

For Writers: Descriptive words and words that help you relate to characters in situations can help pull the reader in. In essays or nonfiction books, you use a “hook” to push the reader into reading the text. A hook can be an interesting fact or a question. But you always have to keep your reader awake. That’s very important, unless they’re trying to go to sleep.

Have you ever read a “tornado” book? What was it called?

About Me

Hi! I’m Emma! I love to bake, eat (anything gluten free that doesn’t taste like cardboard), craft, write, play cello, sing, do calligraphy and play with my dog, Cali (She’s on Instagram now!) Yeah, my bedroom is also actually the cupboard under the stairs, just like Harry Potter 🙂
